The meeting will include the following discussions:

hearing and discussing the current political situation with our Latin American sister parties.
deliberating and deciding on the direction of our Alliance for the year, including the Global Convention.
discussing and deciding on urgent political resolutions, continuing the discussion with our esteemed Latin American sister parties and Brazilian political leaders on pressing issues, and renewing our cooperation at the global level. Political leaders from other continents will also be in attendance.

We work collaboratively to combat inequality and ensure human dignity for all. Our collective aim is to promote social democratic values and practices and champion alternatives to elitist politics and neoliberal capitalist economic organization.

SocDem Asia-Pacific is not just a passive advocate of social democracy. It builds alternatives by deepening and broadening the Asian and Pacific discourse, proposing and developing future-oriented policies, and showcasing the best practices of social democratic parties, politicians, and movements.
